After six great cruises the Celebrity Eclipse left a lot to be desired.
The quality of entertainment compaired to ALL the other cruises we have been on was by far the worst we have ever seen,with no named acts at all.Here are some examples. A guy blowing through a shower hose and through a zimmer frame.
A terrible girl singer,and to top it all the so called in house cast of singers and dancers was the same no matter what the show was about.But the last straw was the assistant cruise director who could not sing and thought he was Tom Jones
The ship itself was very nice but not thought out properly ie most of the entertainment away from the theatre was good but to try to see it was an act in itself,the areas it was held in ie Michaels club,Grand Foyer,ensemble there was not enough seating and people {mainly 55+]had to stand for most of the evening ,not good
The staterooms were the nicest we have ever had but had a lack of storage space
The food and the attention of all staff was first class
Sorry to say we will not cruise Celebrity again.
