When we found out that there was a cruise to the Western Caribbean for 10 days, and included 6 ports, I was excited. Royal Caribbean usually offers only 7 day cruises to the Western Caribbean. My first two cruises have been with Royal, and I loved them both and have nothing bad to say about either ship I was on (Vision, and Freedom). We have been told that Princess Cruise line was a step above Royal, so we looked it up, found some good deals and decided to try it.

My first hint that this was going to be a bad cruise, was when we saw the Oasis of the Seas docked right beside Princess Emerald. Right then and there I felt like I choose the wrong ship, but I brushed those feelings aside and decided I'd give this smaller ship a chance, I hadn't even boarded yet!

Check-in was quick and easy. As soon as we got on the ship, I thought "this is small..". It looked really crammed. And old. I felt like I had just gotten on the Titanic. The ceilings were low, and the hallways were very narrow. Also, the ship felt very dim, the lights were not very bright.

Cabin Review

Cabin OS

Small cabin. Obstructed balcony. Felt like we were staying in a closet.
