We embarked in Barcelona at around 2pm and were in our stateroom with 15 minutes of getting on the ship. Wonderful freindly reception from quayside to cabin.
The stateroom was midship veranda and beautifully laid out with ample storage (more than we have had on any other cruise line). Really neat ideas like the mirrors which 'secretly' housed the tvs in the bedroom and sitting area. Full size seperate shower etc etc, but I have to say that the wash basin tap was a strange choice for installation. Impossible to turn on (even when you really concentrated) without turning it the wrong way or spraying yourself and the mirror. You have to try it understand what I am saying.
We were waitlisted for a Silver Suite and were moved to one after three days and sadly I have to say that although there was much more space the mod cons of the veranda suite were much better than the Silver Suite which had a very strange combination of storage and ordinary free standing tvs and DVD player.
Great cabin. Immaculate. Small balcony but adequate as we did not spend much time there. Very comfy bed.
