We sailed on the Freedom of the Seas with our family of 11 on October 3,2010. Myself, husband, son (15),daughter (10),mother,aunt,cousin and another cousin and her family of four. This was our second time on the Freedom of the Seas except this time we sailed the Western Caribbean itinerary. We started our trip at the Radisson at the port. Very nice hotel and for the money met our expectations. They have a shuttle service that takes you to the port no charge. It was a little hectic and was scheduled to depart at noon and didn't until 12:30. We waited to board the ship for an hour. By the time we got on board we were able to get into our rooms and then headed on down to eat in the Windjammer. The food was great as usual.

Our first port was Labadee, Haiti and it was beautiful. We did the Dragon's breath coaster and the views were so awesome and also the ride. We ended up riding twice. The beach was nice, but a bit rocky. Our next port was Ocho Rios, Jamaica where we did the tubing down the Chukka River. What an awesome experience and our guides were really nice. No gators, if you are worried about that. Too cold for them as it is a natural spring as the guide told us. It was a nice and relaxing trip down the river. We missed our stop in Grand Cayman, which was a bit disappointing (had been before). The weather would not allow us to tender and the excursions had been cancelled. So we had another sea day. The next day we arrived in Cozumel. We went to the San Gervaiso ruins and the Playa Mia beach break excursioin. Our guide Miquel was great and was very informative. The ruins were small compared to Tulum, but just enough as to not make it such a long day. We then went to the Playa Mia Beach which was really neat. We swam and they had all kinds of water equipment that we could use. Trampolines, water mats, canoes all kinds of stuff. The food here was alright though as were the drinks. We enjoyed shopping in Cozumel, good prices on things.

We enjoyed the ship, but not the same excitement as the first time. We were told that they changed all of the shows year to year. They were the same from 2 years ago except they just changed up some of the songs for the Broadway shows. We had a great time, but wouldn't ever do the same ship twice.
