Ship Facts: Celebrity Eclipse Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Eclipse Deck Plans
Celebrity Eclipse fantastic!
We arrived at the port around 1pm and was amazed with the ship. We drove to the baggage drop off at the terminal and the men took them off us. We then drove to the car park and got on the shuttle bus that quickly got us back to the terminal. We arrived and started the quick check in process and arrived onboard the ship was so great the deco was modern. We went to see or rooms which were outside state rooms with conjoining doors the beds were very comfortable and the tv was on demand with free movies, your photos were viewable on the screen, tv channels and free room service.

Once we settled in we let the kids go off and see the ship for themselves and met 15 minutes before the lifeboat drill for lunch it was a hot day so we ate at the grill near the pool. We made our way down to our muster drill station which was photo gallery we watched a video. We didn't have to bother with lifejackets which is great.

After the drill we went up to the lawn club to the sunset bar for a drink and watched the sail away. After that we our way down to unpack and get ready for our dinner which was early seating. Dinner in the main restaurant was fantastic no complaints were ever needed.

The kids enjoyed the kid and teen clubs and think that Celebrity's are the best. The shows in the Eclipse theatre were fantastic and solstice class have theatres cable of air acrobatics. The guest performers were all very good and the documentary talks on sea days were great.

The pools were the best we have seen on a ship they used freshwater instead of saltwater. We thought that the lawn club was going to be nothing special but it was a excellent touch Solstice class definitely took it a step forward having living grass onboard.

The ilounge which is a cross between a internet cafe and a Apple store we just used for checking email.

The ports were all very good and enjoyed them even though some were extremely hot. We always look forward to the cold towels and water when returning to the ship. The shopping onboard was really good and bought a few things in the sale towards the end of the cruise. We did not use the casino as we do not enjoy gambling. The alcoholic drinks were good but could be very strong we enjoyed the ice bar as it was an amazing feature.

The gym and spa was very large and modern with reasonable prices for massages and treatments.

Disembarkation was very quick and easy we were home by lunchtime.

Overall we really enjoyed the cruise and have enjoyed all 4 of our cruises with celebrity and definetly will cruise with them soon. They are joint best cruise line along with royal caribbean international for us we enjoy them very much.
