My wife and I just returned from the beautiful Celebrity Solstice. We sailed on what was supposed to be a eastern Caribbean cruise (hurricane). A little background before I get started. I have sailed on 19 cruises with several different lines. Those being NCL, Holland America, RCCL, Disney and Celebrity. I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of what is good, great or not so great.

PRE-CRUISE:

Since we drove down from South Carolina we stayed the night before at the Renaissance Hotel. The hotel was great and for those driving in I would highly recommend it. It was less than a 1/2 mile from the port entrance. We also really enjoyed the Boathouse restaurant for dinner.
