Let me start by saying this is only our second cruise and first with RC. There is no question that this is a beautiful ship. This ship is double the size of our other cruise (Carnival Inspiration). This was our Honeymoon cruise (we're in our 30's) as was it for another couple that traveled with us (they are in their 60's).

We had an interior stateroom on deck 6. It was small but this was not an issue for us. I'd read several reviews prior to our sailing some of which commented on the bathroom. This was quite small but also not a major issue with us except for the shower. This did have a door instead of a curtain which was nice but that was it. There is VERY little room in it. The stateroom itself was always clean thanks to our attendant Stephen. Stephen was one of the 2 crew members that we dealt with on the cruise that were awesome. If we asked for anything he would get it.

Dinning was a disappointment in the main dinning room. We were in the second seating and it just seemed as though the dinning staff had no interest in being there. We are not a couple that wants to be waited on hand and foot but it would've been nice to have had some type of connection with the staff. Because of this we only ate in the main dinning room 4 nights one of which we left early because of the food. There seemed to be a limited amount of choices compared to Carnival which we found much better. We ate in the Windjammer for Breakfast, lunch and also dinner during the nights we passed on the main dinning room. The food was average and always the same day after day except for a change in the meat. Beverages was an issue with me as I don't care much for alcohol and prefer milk or soda. Soda was available per drink or with a soda card which I ended up buying $48 OUCH! Milk was only readily available at breakfast. Back to the soda card, don't try to get 2 sodas at once, they won't let you. You would think for $48 you wouldn't get that type of hassle.
