This was our third cruise and 2nd with Princess (Alaska 2005) and we've also sailed with RCL (Caribbean 2007). We booked this cruise for our Honeymoon through a local travel agent.

Drive In/Embarkation After a fairly nice drive from PA, we arrived in Brooklyn a little bit after noon. Parking was easy, and we made it through security and were on the ship and in our stateroom within 45 minutes. We headed up to the Lido deck and ate lunch at the Pinnacle Grill. Hot Dogs, Hamburgs, and Fries were very good. We purchased soda cards (More on this later) and also tried the Pizzeria. The crust was very thin and crisp and as good as we remembered on our first cruise with them.

Stateroom We then headed back to our room, where our luggage was waiting in the spacious closet. Our room steward Amago took very good care of the room, leaving chocolates, and even a towel animal on one night. We found the bed to be ok, but not the most comfortable. The shower head was a lot nicer than what we experienced on RCL. A nice addition was a flat screen TV. We headed out to the balcony as we sailed away from NY past the Verrazano Bridge and the Statue of Liberty.
