My previous three reviews were long rambling affairs. This one will be a lot briefer (well for me). If you want A LOT more detail then go to Travelpod (link found from our signature) where our whole five week holiday can be found in far greater detail.

We enjoyed our cruise on the Sun and our first NCL experience. Our original holiday was five weeks in the UK but both of us were thinking (without the other knowing) about adding a Baltic cruise seeing as we were so close. The Baltic Capitals cruise on Sun ticked all of the boxes.

We stayed in London five nights before hiring a car and and spending another in Canterbury before arriving in Dover on embarkation day. Dropped our bags off at the dock before going back and dropping the car off back at the ferry terminal. Then went up to Dover Castle and got a cab back to the the dock at just after 1pm.

Cabin 6218 was on Oslo deck. Deck is only accessible by stairs so is very quiet. Small but functional with good storage space. Bathroom had decent shelves for the stuff two guys take with them. Shower curtain did a good job of keeping water in. Comfiest bed - thickest pad to make two singles a queen - in four cruises. Old style TV that will most likely be replaced in next years dry dock.
