Diamond Princess CruiseTour KA6, August 13-28th

We booked our first cruise with Princess about 9 months ahead of time. While it was our first cruise with Princess, we've been on six cruises with Royal Caribbean and one with Holland America. We'd planned to stick with Royal Caribbean, but minor perk cutbacks with Royal Caribbean resulted in checking out other cruise lines. Princess has some itineraries which are not offered by Royal Caribbean, so we decided to give Princess a try.

As was our custom with other cruises, we booked everything: cruise, air and shore excursions via Princess. And in the case of a snafu with losing our reservation (as a result of a name mistake from our travel agent) on our return flight, it worked out well, because our Land Escort, Carlos Gomez, was able to call Princess and assure us the reservation was there.

Cabin Review

Cabin K

P212. Quiet Location. Right down the hall from the Bar with the Brewed Coffee. Only one chair, small room. No more Inside Staterooms for us on Princess. Uncomfortable beds.
