The Fantasy is a much nicer ship than we had expected based on her age. Nice and clean, refurbished well, and excellent food. But the best was the attitude of the crew who all were excited and wanted THIS cruise to be the best one yet for each and every person. Cabins were just fine with large windows and spacious, new bathrooms. The three ports were each fun and each different.. The hustle and bustle of Nassau, markets, horse and carriage, straw market, Atlantis, taxis for local sightseeing, easy to walk right off the boat and be in the town. Freeport was a little disappointing but only becuase this island is quite depressed..many half finished hotels, houses and shopping areas..the recession has really taken its toll on this once beautiful spot. You cannot walk off the ship and into the town..there is a small shopping area right at the dock which is fine for a few souvenirs, but take the shuttle for $5 each way and go to the Port Lucaya Marketplace, shop a while, then wander across the street to the One and Only and go down by the beach to the bar area to relax. Had our shuttle planned to pick us back up at 1pm (got there at 10am) and that was perfect. Some of our group took a driver and toured the island..$25 per person.

Key West..of course it is a fun spot! Several train/trolleys to take you around the island and see some of the very attractive spots..old homes, historical areas, where some of the well known bars are, some good shopping and just plain fun to walk around in..good food and drink. Our favorite port.

Back to the ship..very good food with many choices..if you want to you could have steak every night..good waiters and crew..made dinner a fun meal! Lunch in either one of the dining rooms or at the buffet depending on your time and preference..breakfastthe same..excellent dining room breakfast choices and a little less hectic than the buffet. The entertainment on the Fantasy was very good..the two full cast shows were excellent..get there early for seats though. Other nice shows on the other nights. This is a super value and you can't go wrong if you are just looking for a nice getaway and a chance to have some fun! Good for families, couples, singles or group trips...we will go back and take our grandchildren! Enjoy!

Cabin 6E

E110 liked being on the port side for this trip..cabin had plenty of room and was attractively decorated. Nice midship location helped when we had some rough weather. Good location midway down the aisle for easy access to the shore excursion area or the Celebration dining room. A little trickie trying to find your way to the Jubilee dining room! I would choose this quiet cabin again.
