Overall this was probably the best "value" cruise for the money. My family had a nice time on the ship "Carnival Fascination."

CABIN: We were in Cabin, U299, this from what I have read on other reviews is a cabin that is an afterthought to the design of the ship. I can tell you from my experience that the cabin is very nice, with one major exception. There is a lot of noise from behind the interior wall of the cabin, I was told it was an Ice Machine, but with the 24 hours of sometimes constant banging... it was not as restful as it could have been.

Food: The food is good, but that is about it. Nothing exceptional here. The only highlight regarding the food was our waiter. Lawrence was GREAT!. The Matre'd was very obnoxious and very full of herself. Just working everyone for tips.

Cabin 4C

Small, and very noisy. Seems like the cabin was an afterthought or put in place of a former closet. Any cabin that ends in 299 I would avoid.
