Newport and tendered in, Tendering was a slow process, but the town was great, with so much history, easy to walk around and see the major sights. Lots of opportunity to go for a sail, on some reallly big sail boats. We lunched at a local restaurant Senna?? to the right of the tendering area and foods was terrific and prices very reasonable.

Next stop was Boston and we sspent the day wondering around the north end and had a great lunch from one of the many Italian restaurants. We took a local bus into to the subway to get there. It cost us 60 cents as seniors. Came home the same with but had to pay regular fare of $2.00 this time. 



Boston

Bar Harbor, beautiful smal resort and fishing port. Tendered in again, this time with no delays. Lots of shops and places to eat on the amin street.

Small city, uninteresting port worth a few hours in town but more interesting to see local countryside. 


Saint John (New Brunswick)

Halifax the largest City in the Canadian Maritime privinces. Lovely city, visited the Citadel and wondered around town. the waterfront walk was a nice way to get into downtown, No taxis or bus needed, lots of good restaurants for lunch.

Room: It was fine, clean nicely laid out, with n more space than a similar room on the Dawn Princess, wwith a cupboard between sleeping area and washroom.Boarding was easy at about 11:am took about 45minutes, later in the day 2:30 there was almost no line.
