Missed Hurricane Igor by two days...however,Bermuda welcomed us to its pink shores as we exited the Explorer of the Seas, Sept. 2010.We were two seniors on our second cruise. We traveled by Motorcoach from Rochester,N.Y.to Cape Liberty,N.J.accompanied by two AAA cruise directors, Sue and Lynn, who were excellent throughout the trip.

EMBARKATION: Very organized taking about 1/2 hour to complete. Passports were checked, paperwork completed, and security pictures taken; then everyone boarded a schuttle to the ship.

FOOD:The buffet food from the Windjammer[WJ] was good to very good while the main dining room[MDRm] food was excellent. There is no free 24 restaurant on board.Between 9pm & 6:30am food is only available at Cafe Promenade-Deck5. MNRm-The food was sight appealing, and delicious with an attentive wait staff mostly from India and the Phillipeans.WJ-The WJ had an abundance of food;the taste was good, but not great. Some items were lukewarm. We thought the eggs, chile and fries were very good and the desserts excellent.
