Just return from our first cruise we went on the Grand Princess were on Caribe deck. had a lot of worries before we went due to some reviews but we had a very good time. The first 4 days were a bit horrid as we had no idea what we we doing or where we were going but after that it was fab.

The food was varied and tasty and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant Cabin was clean and comfortable the cabin steward kept it clean and tidy ( was tempted to bring him home he was so good )lol

This ship is due to have a refit next April 2011 but that didn't spoil our holiday Weather was great couple of nights a bit rocky but as we were in the middle of the ship didn't worry us. Every one made sure we were 100% happy.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BA

C515 this is a balcony cabin on Caribe deck has a bigger balcony than others as half is under cover and other half in the sun quite a few balconies on other decks seen to be all under cover except Dolphin deck were the mini suites arebut the mini suites dont appear to have any shade.Small bathroom with a shower but we are both tall and not tiny and it was fineevery thing worked well.Bed was quite hard which suited my husband we would have liked a little more wardrobe space and did not like the fact that when the door was open all our clothes were on show but this is the same in all the cabins except the suitesThere was the same about of room as in a standard hotel double, but was fine for us as we made use of the large balcony.it was clean and kept clean and tidy by the steward. I wasn't expecting any thing fantastic as this ship is having a refit in April not sure if the rooms will get refits though ???
