I gave this cruise one ribbon for the sheer fact that the people I met on the ship from Cruise Critic were all amazing, and the other passengers that I met trhoughout the week were a delight as well. This was the only real saving grace that this ship had. Had it not been for the people on board, this ship would have gotten no rating from me at all. It was that bad. I only voiced my opinion about how much I disliked the ship to a small few while on board because I didn't want to spoil anyone else's perception of the cruise. I'm not one to ruin everyone else's time because I had no fun, but I feel that this venue is appropriate for finally voicing my opinions.

First of all, I think I finally figured out what NCL stands for...Nickel and Dime Crusie Line! Evertyhing that was decent cost you extra, and I feel like I was totally ripped off! With this being my ninth cruise and after having sailed on four different cruise lines, I now know that NCL is the worst and I will never sail on them again. Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Holland America Line are so much better that I can't even rate it on a scale!

To be quite honest with you, I would have been better off staying home than wasting all of the money I spent on this floating Holiday Inn. I don't even want to insult Holiday Inns by saying this, but I felt like I was stuck at a 70's style hotel with absoultely NOTHING TO DO! The decor of the ship was awful, the staff was rude, and there were no windows anywhere! The people on this board who have raved about the entertainment apparantly have no idea what good free entertainment is like on other ships. The only thing this ship had going for it in the realm of entertainment was Blue Man Group. Their show was great!
