Sail Date: Sep 2010

Accommodations: I had an AQ cabin, 1521. Attendant was Ronnie, Assistant Jason. Both were excellent:) Cabin was nice and I loved the shower. My first time in AQ and probably my last as well. I was only able to book it due to the drop in price. I was glad I was able to book it though for the experience. I used my balcony a bit more than usual too. It was forward and I could sometimes see the officers working on the bridge and they would ocassionally wave. The flavored tea was quite good. It varied from peach to raspberry.

Food, I know Blu is strictly for AQ cabins but I only ended up eating 3 dinners there. Sailing solo, the restaurant (in my opinion) is not condusive to the solo traveler. It is all Select Dining with mostly 2/4 tops with a few 6 tops. Being it is really set up for those already in a party/group the solo cruiser would essentially sit by themsevles. I love cruising solo but enjoy the comraderie of tablemates during dinnertime. As noted, I did eat there 3 times, once by myself and twice 2 different couples from the roll call and I ate together. It made both evenings quite nice for sure. The food was quite good and service matched it. I did eat breakfast there most every morning and did think the offerings were delicious. I would have eaten dinner there at least 2 other times but the folks I wanted to eat with were not permitted in Blu so we ate together elsewhere. Those evenings we ate in the Main Dining Room and Bistro on 5. Both dinners were good and the company was delightful. I also went to Tuscan Grille with a nice gal I had met in the Ensemble Lounge. We had a very enjoyable evening. Food and service were both good. And I was invited to dine at the Capt's Table on the 2nd formal night. Staff Captain was the host and we had a very friendly group of folks and I enjoyed myself very much.

I only ate at the buffet for lunch one afternoon and also ate in the Aqua Spa Cafe too. Both were quite good.

AquaClass 2

Cabin A2

Sailing solo, plenty of room for clothing. The safe is in an odd spot in the

closet though.

Cabin location, execellent...quiet.
