10th Anniversary with Friends

Sail Date: September 2010
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Miami

Embarkation: Very smooth and quick, curb side to ship in 15mins. Paid at porter $10 and we got our luggage like he promised within 2 hours of boarding the ship, instead of waiting for it to come later that night, which most people had to wait until after 7pm to get their luggage. Our room attendant also had put our luggage in our cabin instead of waiting outside our cabin for us.

Room Attendant: James, awsome guy, knew our names from moment one and stopped by our cabin to make sure he introduced himself to us right away. He was awsome, the best we have ever had.

Cabin: E1 Balcony stateroom. Very nice, however on very windy nights, the wind wistles so loud you can't sleep. We were able to watch all sea life from our balcony, one night we watched 7 dolphins jumping and playing in the ocean right below us.

Waiter, Assistant Waiter and Head Waiter: All 3 were awsome. Our head waiter made an effort to visit each table every night and was very engaging. Our More waiter Clifford awsome. It was a nice surprise for my husband and I to have Clifford as last year when we sailed with our kids on Lib. of the Seas, we had Clifford. Service was great, he remembered every little detail and made sure we had a great time. Our Assistant Waiter: Liz she was awsome as well and so cute. She made sure we had what we needed every night, right down to remembering exactly what we were drinking and never had to ask for it.

Food: Awsome, great selection, more then we knew what to do with, I think we all gained 10 lbs. But well worth it.

Shows: Not so hot, had seen them 2 times before and thought I would try them out again with our friends as they had never seen them, and still not happy with them, very amature and the singers couldn't hit the right notes to save their lives. Late night comedy was good.

Promenade Parades and Parties: Fantastic, lots of energy and fun.

Cruise Director: Kirk, was ok, not the best, have had better. Was disappointed James Andrews wasn't the Director this time. By far he is the best at his job. Kirk just wasn't as outgoing or bubbly.

Staff: all great.

Quizes and Games etc.: Loved them all. Triva every day, tough but fun, Who wants to be a millionaire, battle of the sexes, love and marriage, The Quest, Ultimate Race and finish that lyric, all awsome, participated in all except the love and marriage (didn't get picked for that). The Quest adults only, my husband was a team captian and won, a lot of fun, everyone should experience it, the Ultimate Race we won and we were the old ones against all the 20 something kids. That was a lot of fun and really gets you all over the ship a million times.....

Ports of Call: all nice. We did the Xterrain to Jade Caverns in cozumel, best adventure ever. We were covered in mud from head to toe, and it was awsome. Then we swam in the bat caves and back out to get muddy. If you ever get a chance to try this I highly recommend it.

Ship: Beautiful and large, still love the flowrider, rock wall, ice skating, promenade etc. all awsome.

Friends with us were first time cruisers and all of us would go again in a heartbeat.

Loved the vacation. Less
