After 41 cruises on 7 different Cruise lines, we decided to return to NCL....boy was that a mistake. First the good...the entertainment was AWESOME..the ship is used to every inch and then some....now the bad
THE ROOMS ARE SMALLER THAN A CLOSET...and Ray Charles designed them...I mean who puts a sink in the middle of the room and when you turn it on it spays the entire room....tinted glass to cover a toilet...the shower was adequate...the TV is useless, they show 30 minute reruns of certain shows and BBC,Fox and Dora....ESPN if you like 'CRICKET" who the hell does...?
NO COMMUNICATION...oh they have a print out...it describes art auctions, and etc. but try to find out where the debarkation deck is ...NO...try to find out when to put luggage out...NO..try to find out anything you didn't have to pay for extra...NO..
back to entertainment, the Blue Men, Second City , Legends and "WILDFIRE" PLAYING IN THE ATRIUM...wonderful..
Same ole same ole menu in the Manhatten and Taste..but if you sprung for $25 bucks you could get a steak and the Murder Mystery lunch was ok...
Now back to the "Ray Charles Designed rooms"...I'm serious, go to your closet and practice sleeping before you go on this ship....
NCL really needs a lesson from RCCL on how to treat their guest and most of all their dining staff....my wife ask in the buffet if she could have some tea and was told, it was right down there in the corner....! and I asked for some butter and was told where to get it...
NO WAY WOULD I GO BACK ON THIS SHIP..I'D GO BIG RED BOAT BEFORE GOING BACK...
Don't waste your time...RCCL has them beat hands down....we made a mistake and that's my story and I'm sticking to it...
