Sail Date: Jan 2009

I obviously can't speak for everyone who has sailed on the dream, but i do think some people get on the ship and concentrate all their time on finding faults. On one of the previous reviews, one of the passengers complained that the only place on the ship to get any peace and quiet was in his cabin.Did he not visit the argo lounge, the library, the deck behind ladontes or the side of the ship which was decked out with sunbeds and a lot of snoring. The word nitpicking springs to mind. Well humpty,jumpty.trumpty,stumpty.grumpty and lumpty had an unbelievable time. Let me start with negatives.Thomson should employ someone to look after sunbeds because far too many people put towels on sunbeds and then get off the ship to visit a port and return 6 hrs later. You then see people walking round the ship looking for a sunbed which can cause friction. Also you can get an odd whiff but very rarely. Trips are a bit expensive and some of the ports repetetive and boring. Positives. Staff fantastic, food amazing.entertainment unbelieveable. You really have to try and vary your options of an evening to take everything in.Quizzes of an afternoon in sirens and evening in the medusa were a great laugh. The shows in the amazing atlanta theatre were of a really high standard, great dancers, great voices, some really talented people. Auctions, comedians, bingo wahay, competitions, karaoke, you really could not ask for much more. If like us you are on the all inclusive package, you will not be disappointed, but be warned,do not go to casino after a few too many, because when my bill came under the door my missus found it first,oh oh. The only people who were'nt smiling on board were professional whingers. The captain was also good for a laugh and we will definitely be sailing on the old lady again.Agood time was had by all. P.S.9 euros return to rome if you go by train 45 mins.

Cabin Review

Our cabin 7102 was great.Really peaceful and dark you did not know what time of day it was with the light off.
