It was my parents first cruise and our third. We went with with another couple and my boyfriend. We flew to Seattle a few days early to see Seattle. The weather was perfect. We stayed at the Comfort Inn on 601 Roy Street. With tax it will run $153.00 per night. It was located three blocks from the Space Needle. Conveniently located to other points of interest and a cab ride to Pike's Market was $10.00. Our room was very nice with a view of the Space Needle from our hotel window. The only down fall was their breakfast buffet. There is a great QF Grocery store around the corner that has a Starbucks, and other things the buffet didn't offer. We opted to go there so we didn't have to wait in a long line. We also took a Seattle City Tour (206) 768-1234 for $44.95 p/p. They pick you up at your hotel. It's a three hour tour and well worth it. I highly recommend the Underground Tour as well. Our driver Lance was awesome. Very informative and made the tour quite enjoyable. There was no way we could of covered all the points of interests and highlights of the city on our own. We took the monorail from the Space Needle to downtown. For $2.00 p/p you can't beat it. Walked from there to Pike's Market and around the waterfront.

It was labor Day weekend. So it was very busy. We had a great day there and had dinner at Ivar's Acres of Clam's. We went to Etta's the next night for dinner. I had the Halibut every night for dinner wherever we went.It was awesome. Seattle has so much to see and do. Stop by "Beecher's" for the killer Mac and cheese and "Serious Pie " for pizza. We booked our excursions through "Sea wind Aviation" in Ketchikan for a seaplane tour of Fjords National Park. It was breathtaking. We flew with the owner Steve Kamm. Highly recommend it. The other excursion we went on was in Juneau with Harv & Marv's Outback Alaska. Our Captain Shawn took us to see the Mendenhall Glacier afterwards. It was spectacular. The highlight of our tour. We saw a few whales, alot of sea lions and eagles. Unfortunately the orcas weren't out that day. The water was like glass. Juneau had the most scenery and wildlife. Glaciers galore. Incredible natural beauty all around. This was a great cruise . The staff and service are impeccable. The food was great and the seafood buffet was wonderful. I spent a couple sea day's at the spa on board. Very nice amenities and very relaxing. The entertainment was great. We highly recommend this cruise to anyone of any age.

Was hoping to spend less time in Skagway and more time visiting Victoria, BC. We went to see Butchart Gardens. We spent $100.00 r/t on a cab ride plus the $28.00 p/p to get in the park. Would rather see it during the day maybe in the spring or summer. It was our only regret. The park is lit up at night. But it was still very hard to see. Captain Dino Sagani was wonderful. He took the time to pose for pictures with me and my family. They were thrilled meeting him. He was very gracious and was a perfect gentleman. The entire crew were very professional and accomodating. We loved this cruise and look forward to sailing with Princess again.

Cabin Review

Cabin AE

We had a mini suite with a balcony. We were on Dolphin Deck 9, Suite 606. Plenty of room for luggage and to move about. The bed was a little hard for my taste. We heard this alot before our cruise and from others while on board. Our room attendant Dione was very nice and accommodating.
