Just returned from this cruise with 7 other women. We dubbed it our "girls only mah jongg cruise" and had booked in early July, prior to Hurricane Charley hitting our hometown of Punta Gorda, so we were very ready for a vacation. We had originally booked a bus connection through NCL, but they later cancelled it because the ship was not going to sail until 8PM, so we were forced to drive to Miami.
Boarding went extremely well, even though one of our group forgot her passport (but had a copy of it in her purse). However, 2 in our group had a suite and they did not seem to receive any special treatment other than a different line for checking in, even though one was in a wheelchair. There was no offer of someone to push the chair up the gangway or to the suite.
The ship is beautifully decorated with bright colors and lots of oriental touches. Our balcony cabin was well appointed, although a small fridge would have been welcome. The bathroom is very nice and functional. The shower stall is adequate and keeps the water off the floors. There was plenty of closet space and a small chest of drawers. Two of our group had selected a suite which was very nice and overlooked the stern of the ship. The balcony was narrow.
