Ship Facts: Monarch of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Monarch of the Seas Deck Plans
Quick Cruise Getaway
Well I decided to do a "Spur of the moment Cruise" on the Monarch of the Seas. I decided to take the 3-day weekend cruise on the Monarch. In fact I just got back today and decided to write this review. This cruise is my 3rd RCCL and my 4th overall. This is also the 3rd time I have sailed on the Monarch.

I bought my ticket the same week the cruise sailed and had a great deal even with the single supplement. I left the house at 2pm in Orlando FL and I was on the ship by 330pm Embarkation was a total breeze

Once I was on the ship I had to take my bags to my interior stateroom on deck 6 and head straight to the muster drill. After the drill I enjoyed sailing away from the 7th deck on the outside walkway.

The cruise was a perfect weekend getaway. Cruise director Marc was fantastic. He did a fantastic job in keeping everyone entertained. Food was fantastic as always in the MDR. Breakfast and Lunch was in the Windjammer with the typical buffet food.

On Saturday we pulled into Nassau around Noon and stayed till Midnight. I walked around and went into the Pirates of Nassau Museum ($12). I enjoyed the museum. At Coco-Cay I stayed on the ship and enjoyed the empty pool areas and Hot Tub.

Debarkation was just as easy. Even tough I carried all my bags I still left when my number was called. This allowed me to relax watch us pull into port and have breakfast without having to hurry. I started off the ship at 0840am and was home by 11am.

I will definitely sail this ship again later this year or early 2011
