Family & Friends2010

Sail Date: August 2010
Destination: Bahamas
Embarkation: Jacksonville

Sixteen friends and family members, flew from BWI Airport to Jax International Airport where a shuttle took us to the Jacksonville Port, arrive around 12:00 p.m. There we went through Embarkation which went rather smooth, took only about 30 minutes. We were told that our cabins would be ready at 1:30 p.m. and that we could go up on the Lido Deck for Lunch. Line was pretty long but it was worth the wait the food was great. Went to our cabin around 3:00 there we meant our stewardess who was very nice and friendly and greeted us with a smile (everyday) and about 20 minutes later our luggage was delivered.

We had early dinning which was at 6:00 p.m. there the waiters were very friendly we had two tables 306 and 308. And the food there was soooo.. good and if it was something you didn't like you could always change it to something else without any problem at all. Really like the service in the dinning room, we ate in Imagination Dinning Room. And I enjoy all of the live shows More that they had line up on the Cruise. Had a ball in Diamonds Are Forever just danced the night away it was fun.

The only complaint I have is the pool on the ship was to small stay crowded. But Half Moon Cay and Paradise Island made up for that, Half Moon Cay was so beautiful. Went to Nassau there we went on a tour of Nassau, shop at the straw market and went to Paradise Island and swam left there and shopped some more and got back on the ship. There was a party on the Lido Deck that night saying good bye to the Bahamas it was a blast!!!

There was a $50.00 Gratuity, $10.00 a day for the five days we sail which was bad at all. Debarkation went quick as we opt to carry our luggage off ourselves. So there it is my experience on Carnival Fascination no complaint what so ever.

Sailed August 21 through August 26, 2010. Less
