Booked this cruise b/c saw it on the web for a great price. Board at noon, have bathing suit and suntan lotion in carry on; it is almost a full day minus the breakfast, with lunch, then swimming then activities once the ship takes off. then 2 ports, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, with 2 full days at sea. Just right for a week [almost] getaway. Flew down from dc area night before, though you could fly in the am of the day of departure. Just don't want to chance a flight mess up, and missing the cruise.

Royal Caribbean has the best all around entertainment, by far, which is what they are known for. excellent reggae band poolside. wonderful band in the centrum for dancing before and after dinner--i think they were called the teddys--brass, keyboard, guitar, great drummer who was the singer..they were terrific with a huge repertoire. The nine piece orchestra for the shows was terrific--there is nothing like good live music and rc spends the money and makes a real effort to assure they have it. The cruise director, John was one of the better ones you will find and has a terrific singing voice and sense of humor, without being forced The production shows were very good--dancers and singers were quite good and the themes were good and not contrived..musical reviews basically. activities going on all over the ship for all age groups and all interests. And, the grandeur is one of RC's smaller ships, but they have everything you need, and nothing you dont. Covered pool [solarium] in case of bad weather, which we did not have--adults only.

The service all around was excellent, cabin, waiters, bars, everyone, as was their attitude.
