The Norwegian Epic is an awesome ship.

What I liked: Great food in all the dining areas, well seasoned and presented, food in the Garden Cafe was very good, always hot and fresh, many, many choices, we really enjoyed the Manhattan dining room, especially with the live band. Real ice cream, many flavors, hand scooped, the soft-serve was very good, not icy and grainy as found on other ships. CD Simon was very good, always greeting us and he participated in many of the activities. Entertainment was fantastic, saw Blue Man Group three times and Legends in Concert, very talented performers, Howling at the Moon was good, although the entertainers seemed to lose energy as the week progressed. MUST see comedian, magician Jeff Hobson, hilarious, saw him three times No problem getting into any shows, always seats Shore excursions very good, recommend the Island Tour and beach time in Roatan, Jeep trip and beach in Cozumel and visit to Kahunellich in Costa Maya Lots of storage in our room, comfortable bed, big shower

Room for improvement: need more people friendly serves in dining room. some seemed completed indifferent to the diners AVOID Second City Group, they are awful, totally unfunny, compare it to a bunch of self-appointed ultra cool yuppies trying to be funny, they have a bunch of canned acts and they insert someone's name in the blank and that's supposed to be funny, we and several others walked out mid show. Get rid of celebrity DJ, played only scratch techno-music, no one danced when he was a around, need a good wedding DJ to get people up on the dance floor, this guy was awful Too much drink hustling whenever you sit down anywhere, got asked three times in less than 2 minutes
