Awesome is the word! We arrived in Copenhagen a day early and stayed two extra nights at the end of the cruise. There is so much to do and see in Copenhagen. It was a clean and very walkable city from our hotel Radisson Scandinavia. The day of embarkation, we took the Princess city tour and had a very knowledgeable guide and were able to see and learn so much about this wonderful city.
Embarkation was a breeze. Our stateroom was ready when we boarded and luggage arrived shortly after.
We've been on many cruises previously with Princess as well as other cruiselines and the Star Princess did not disappoint us. It was clean, the staff friendly and helpful and food was great. We chose "anytime dining" and all dining room personnel, from the gracious hostess to our waiters gave us exceptional service. We thought the entertainment ranked among the best we'd had on any ship.
The itinerary was perfect. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay an extra day in each port.
Having John Lawrence onboard was a great asset. We went to all his lectures and they were all very enlightening and helpful.
