Thomson Dream Cruise Review by Elizabeth McTeague: Absolute Dream
We have just returned from a 2 week cruise on the Thomson Dream which meant a total of 10 ports of call . Although we had read mixed revierws we can honestly say that we had a great time on this ship.
The only disappointment was we did not get to visit Tunisia because of a technical problem with the ship which I have since discovered since coming back has been long term so cannot understand why Thomsons did not tell us we would not be calling there until a day or so before and that Cagliari would be the alternative.
Food was great especially breakfast in Sirens. We dined at the grill on a couple of occassions. Only critiscism is the food in Andromeda could be luke warm and bland but we worked or way round it by using the other options Have got to say the £59 celebrations package is a briliant deal. I treated hubby to one as it was his birthday while we were away.
The staff and crew were great in all departments. We loved the Captin's daily sea More stories and what entertainment we saw was good. Staff talent night very good.
The only draw back was we got caught up in the air traffic controllers strike on the way back which added a couple of hours onto our journey Less

Cabin review: Thomson Dream
Cabin was outside plus on deck 6 - very clean and comfortable
Port and Shore Excursions
Later in the week we also visited Olbia in Sardinia. I am not too keen on this port of call at all.
Had a great day in naples on bus tours - loved the dodgy driving even if it was hairy at times.
Toulon was another nice place - had a tour round the naval base on a boat and went on the wee train as well asvisiting the Sunday market
Fun With My Kids But Not Very ...
Quick Spin Around The Med
A pleasant voyage
