Cruisers: Bonnie and Rich. This is a travelogue with Ports and Ship comments intermixed. We booked all of our excursions privately.

Friday: We arrived a day early in Seattle and used the light rail from the SeaTac to Westlake and walked a couple of blocks to the Grand Hyatt. We walked around Pike's Market, had lunch at Lowell's, stopped in at the First Starbucks and made it back to the hotel to meet Hugh, Jeannie, Holly and David (all from CruiseCritic)for a wonderful dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.

Saturday:The following morning we used a coupon thru the hotel for a breakfast at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Left for the ship at around 1:00 via taxi (around $16). Embarkation was a breeze even with three bottles of wine and a bottle of rum in our luggage.
