We have just returned from our Western Carribbean cruise on Freedom of the Seas and had a wonderful time. We had an inside cabin which although not over big was fine for our needs as we sent little time in it, to sleep and wash and change. The food was excellent with lots of choice, we ended up on my time dining in the resteraunt and the service was so good we ate there every night, we had breakfast in the Windjammer at our own leisure, again attentive staff and excellent food. We were always given a table for 2 as requested which I really liked.
The shows on board this ship were excellent, escpecially the ice show that was outstanding. There was always something to do or look at, (If you wanted to) lovely pools and jacuzzi's. We used the adults area for sunning ourselves but children were never a problem. There was a good age range on board and we found the people friendly.
The ports of call Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Mexico were really good, I do think the cost of trips is a bit high but they were wellorganised, if you are a bit adventrous you could get a local guide and save money.
The only negative bout the cruise was the cost of drinks, we found these a bit steep seing it is duty free, so we had drinks on an evening and used the cafe's for daytime. There was 24 hour places to eat and drink. Overall a great ship and holiday we would highly recommend.
