Let me begin by stating that this was my first cruise so I have no comparison.

The entire cruise was beautifully engineered, everything worked like a swiss watch, from embarkation from the airport in Barcelona to disembarkation on the last day. It was pretty much idiot proof down to how and where to leave the luggage on the final day to checking in at the airport for our return.

The food was excellent and the choices very varied. I would suggest the "soda fountain package" (unlimited free soft fizzy drinks) although from a squirtgun and not a can or bottle, inferior taste, it was quite satisfactory as a thirst quencher in the hot temperatures and good value. The vast majority of the staff were courteous, helpful and attentive, in particular the stateroom attendant who upon being informed on our arrival that a double bed was not suitable for a man and his 15 year old daughter, it was transformed into two single beds within an hour.
