My wife and I are first-time "cruisers" who joined some friends to celebrate their parents 50th wedding anniversary. Royal Caribbean turned out to be an excellent first time experience for us.

We were fortunate to experience outstanding weather at the ports, and we had an unbelievable time at the Sawyer Glacier.

We were somewhat concerned about the seas, never having been on a cruise before, but the seas cooperated and it was a lovely trip. The weather the first full day at seas was a bit windy and damp, but it gave us an opportunity to experience all the ship offered. The staff was exceptional, from wait staff, bar servers, cabin attendants, entertaiment, etc. - they all worked to make this an enjoyable event. Read more
