Ship Facts: Carnival Inspiration Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Inspiration Deck Plans
Great Family Vacation
This was our family vacation right before school started so was a good way to end the summer a total of 4 of us me, wife, 8yr daughter and grandma. This was are 4th carnival cruise so we had a idea what to expect but had been some time since we had been on a smaller ship and taken less the a 7 day cruise. Since we live in Florida we have several ports to choose from and this time i was looking to avoid a 4 hr trip to Miami so Tampa was a good choice and we were able to have family take us so didn't have to pay for parking.

We got to the port at 12:30 there was a small line but it moved fast and we were on the ship in 45 min. For one of carnivals small ship it has alot to offer and is well kept so we didn't get bored. Since we got on so early our cabin was not ready so did what every one dose when gets on the first day is get lunch. After lunch our cabin was ready so we went and found it was on deck 5 main and was just the right size for the 4 of us had two upper and two beds pushed together. Had lots of storage so we had no problem with putting everything away. Went back to pool deck for the sail away party and to let my daughter go swimming and the rest of us had are first drink.

Since this was a 5 day cruise only one formal night and carnival has changed there dress code so it was a very casual. On the formal night i only wore a shirt and tie and the rest of my party had on nice dresses and i saw the same with most of the other passengers. On the other night as long as you had on nice cloths you were ok for the dinning room. The food was great only issue was the late night food was the same every night so if you wanted something other then pizza or hamburgers or hot dogs you were out of luck.

My daughter has been on 3 cruies now all with carnival and she loves going to camp carnival and making new friends. They do a great job of breaking up the age groups so the young kids and the older ones don't mix and have there own separate space

Myself, wife and grandma had a good time going to the shows and spending some time in the casino. Talking about the casino you never had to wait for a table or slot machine this is the first time i saw such a empty casino.

This was our 3 time to the two ports Grand Cayman, Cozumel but still had a good time.

Getting off the ship was ok no problems. Over all had a good time we already have put a deposit down for our next carnival cruise
