Embarkation- It went very smoothly. We were onboard the ship within 30 mins. of arriving at the pier. We got from the airport to the pier by a shuttle company called Cruise Express.
Food- The food was great as usual. There are many choices for lunch such as the pasta bar ,which had great alfredo, the grille ,deli, mongolian and tandoori. For dinner we had early seating in the Scarlet dining room. Our waiters Yiem and Rodrigo learned our names the first night and were eager to learn about us. Our bar tender Ieva was great because she had our drinks on the table in the dining room before we sat down. The lobster and veal parmesan were fantastic.
Layout of the ship- Our room was 9244 on the Vista deck. Our room steward, Henri was the best. He made towel animals that my kids have never seen before. On the lido deck there were 2 pools, they were small and on fun days at sea we were all squished together. There were alot of deck chairs but only some of them had umbrellas covering them. If you wanted those chairs you would have to get up very early. The decor of the ship was nice and very colorful. Overall the ship only felt crowded on fun days at sea in the pool area.
Entertainment- The Encore theater seemed small for 4,500 passengers. We had to get there early to get a good seat. Dancing in the street was the best show of the cruise. The first 2 comedians were hilarious but the others were bad! Get Ready was also a good show. The magicians were ok but not my favorite.Fun Force ,the breakdancers, were awesome. Lastly the male singer , Lawrence, was great but the female singer, Heather, was annoying and a very bad singer!!!
Todd- our cruise director Todd was not as bad as others have mentioned. He tried to be at all of the big performances and get involved.
Overall the cruise was fantastic and I would love to go again.
