I should have written this one sooner. Reading other members reviews prompted this one. (They help) This was my 2nd cruise. My first was in the Eastern Caribbean on the Jewel of the Seas. I thought a bigger ship meant more confusion, but I was proven wrong. We had booked a Junior Suite to take advantage of the extra amenities. We later upgraded to a Grand Suite and we will probably never go back. If you wish to be pampered, go for it. My wife and I are 50ish and like to relax when on vacation. The only negative was the dining. I requested a private table for 2 late seating. I didn't get that arrangement until I requested "my time dining". After that, each night was spent at the same private table with the same waiters. We like that, as familiar waiters make for more comfortable dining. They know what you prefer after a night or two. Galveston was cool (60-65 degrees) when we left. After 2 days at sea, we arrived in Honduras were the temp. was 85! We went to Sante's Day Spa were my wife was pampered and I snorkeled. The snorkeling was fabulous as there is a 60ft. (or maybe deeper) wall just offshore from Sante's. What a great day! Next was Costa Maya where we toured the Mayan Ruins. Don't miss this as the buses are air-conditioned and the tour guide (Diana) was just wonderful. An added bonus: the wild monkeys showed up and gave us an unexpected show. If you prefer, you can stay in the "compound" just off the pier and get plenty of "liquid refreshment" 'til the ship is ready to leave. Last, but certainly not least was Cozumel. We rented a jeep and traveled the island. We went into the "eco-park" on the south end, climbed the lighthouse, and took lots of "wall hanging" type pictures. I recommend a minimum of drinking if you drive there as the police and the rental agencies have no sense of humor. (We saw a fellow trying to explain a dented jeep!) Do your partying at 1/2 Senior Frogs when you get done with your auto. It's near the pier and is quite entertaining. I must say in conclusion that I was really impressed with the Voyager. For her age she is clean, the food was great, and the crew was exceptional. The shows were entertaining (of course some acts were a little silly, there are children on board!!) and we really enjoyed the Ice Show. Thumbs up to this cruise!!!

Grand Suite

Our Grand Suite was fabulous. Bath had a tub with shower. Always some extra showing up from the staff.
