I usually go on holiday with my Daughter, who's 33, in March, a real Girlie Holiday! I've taken my Mother on a couple of Cruises in the Mediterranean and she really enjoyed the experience. She had never been to the States or the Caribbean and so we felt that whilst she was still able to travel, it would be really nice to take her on a cruise there.

I decided to try the new Celebrity Solstice class of ship as my Daughter and I had tried Celebrity for the first time in 2009 on the Millenium and were quite impressed and the Equinox itinerary seemed just what we were looking for. We'd been to the Ports before so knew exactly what was ideal to do in each one.

When we arrived at the ship, I knew I had made a good choice. I've done at least 20+ cruises with different Cruise Lines but even I was going around the ship with my mouth open! Everything was just perfect, fresh and vibrant colours everywhere. Just seeing the look on my Mother's face was worth all the hours of searching to find a good itinerary.

Sunset Veranda

Lovely view, not enough cupboard space for 3 Women but would be fine for a couple. Bathroom larger than usual.
