I embarked on the Thomson Dream during the first week of August. After reading the reviews on this site I felt sick with dread at what I may find once there. I am very aware of my rights and if I feel something isn't right I will be the first to complain.

The transfer was excellent, I was on board the ship within an hour of collecting my luggage. We were told on arrival that we would not visit Tunisia as the water tank was being fixed - this actually wasn't too bad as Palma was lovely. All passengers were given £50 credit on their cabins. I was a bit upset as Tunisia appeals to me, however what could they do? It would of been dangerous to travel. Once sorted the rest of our cruise went to plan.

I think i must of been very lucky as our cabin was large, very clean, air conditioned and absolutely no smell of sewage. I did not see one toilet out of order on the ship. The food was delicious (although I ate mostly in the orion restaurant downstairs). I ate lunch a few times on deck 9 and it was fab.
