Wonderful and booking again tomorrow: Ventura Cruise Review by SHARON FOSTER

Wonderful and booking again tomorrow
Destination: Baltic Sea
Only fault was the weather, rained all week apart from the sail up the North Sea and the return my husband and myself both got burned, we did not take sunscreen as we thought it would not be hot (how wrong were we !).. the scenery can only be described as spectacular from entering the Fjords to coming home.
We have previously been on 3 cruises to the Med with Ocean Village (which we loved by the way and sorry to see go to Oz), so you can imagine our apprehension of whether we would fit in. We loved every minute and all day today we have been shopping around for the best deal to book for the Med Sept 2011.
We are both young 50's and would recommend this to all ages, but do not make the same mistake as we did and didn't take with us the formal attire. We thought we did not have to partake (you don't), but we felt left out and when we decided to go and buy a tie or bow from the onboard shop, all had been snapped up quickly, it appears others had done the same. We watched all the passengers in their sparkly gowns and tuxedo's and wished it was us. The next cruise we are already prepared and know the score...
For those of you who are not sure... go on, food excellent, service the same from boarding to disembarking.... I loved Ventura and cannot wait, I am sure it is 56 weeks to go and counting.... Happy cruising.. xx Less
Cabin review: LCp234 Outside Twin with Shower
P234 was a little noisy during the night on 2 nights, very close to the Launderette which was never busy and free and cool. Fixed twin beds, on reflection next time we are booking same deck but double bed but more towards mid ship to avoid the noise. Spotless clean and more than ample space, we did not spend much time in here apart from to sleep so how big do you want the cabin??Read All Outside Twin with Shower (LC) Reviews >>
