We sailed on the Carnival Dream 6/26/2010. I was a bit concerned after having read many of the negative reviews that were posted on this site. No cruise is perfect and we have a few glitches but they were few and infrequent.

We spent 2 days at the Doubletree Cocoa Beach prior to the cruise. We enjoyed the beach/water and the room was ok but the restaurant was overpriced and the food mediocre. We won't stay there again because of that.

When we got to the port Saturday morning - the size of the ship was so impressive; she's HUGE!!! As usual Carnival has embarkation down to a fine art. We moved along quickly and were on the ship in no time. We were early so the doors to the cabins were still locked for cleaning. This is a very large ship but it was easier to navigate than the Freedom last summer. Read more
