After ELEVEN ALASKA CRUISES over the past EIGHTEEN YEARS we actually left wanting to stay!!

First, when it is over ONE HUNDRED DEGREES where you live in the summer, ALASKA is THE place to be! Not to mention THE SCENARY!!

We started out with a recover stay in Anchorage two nights and then rented a car to head on new explorations in the Kenai Peninsula area. This time we chose the Princess Wilderness Lodge at Cooper Landing as our base for two nights. We felt it was the best we saw in the entire area and we absolutely loved the expansive deck over the river for afternoon cocktails and fellowship. The bears begging for fish from the 50 fly fishermen in the river just up the road was priceless!
