This being our first cruise, we had our preconceived ideas; however, we were pleasantly surprised by our cruise vacation aboard the Solstice. Celebrity and the Solstice crew certainly have their act together. Overall we were very impressed by the public areas, our stateroom, excellent service, and the wonderful food. We were in an Aqua Class stateroom (cabin 1640).

Embarkation - The embarkation process went very smoothly; we were onboard within 10 minutes of arriving at the pier.

Public Areas - The public spaces, restaurants, shops, theaters, entertainment spaces, and bars and lounges were spectacular. Very elegant and classy.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 2

Cabin A2

The stateroom was very quiet. Our veranda was a decent size (it was the typical size found in most rooms) with two chairs and footstools, as well as a table). There was an overhang that kept the sun off the deck most of the day (our preference). We had to call Guest Relations three times to reset the television.
