This was my 5th Carnival cruise and the best so far. We flew into Tampa the day before and stayed at the Embassy Suites downtown. It was a very nice and clean hotel and would stay there again. Embarkment was painless and we were on the ship in about 1/2 hour. The Legend looked in great working order. Everything was clean and the staff was inviting. All meals were very good and the staff in the main dining room were outstanding every night. We enjoyed the two sea days at the pool, working out and just checking out the ship. My 12 year old did not use any of the clubs, but they looked like they had some nice activities going on. All of the staff and service personnel I ran into were outstanding and very helpful. We saw a few shows and they were okay. The shore excursions were perfect all by private vedors..... Grand Cayman: We used StingraySailing and they were awesome with out trip to Stingray City. The rays were fun to handle and swim around with. The water was warm and very clear. It was a great day for pictures. Did some snorkeling at the reef and that was also very good. Grand Cayman is a tender port, but it was a quick ride in and out.... No problems and a very enjoyable day. Cozumel: We got a taxi ride to Nachi-Cocom and had another great day there. Nice beach and pool area along with great food and drinks. The service there was over the top. Everyone I met working there was very helpful. I would return and do this same excursion again. Roatan: We booked with Victor Bodden and it was perfect. His driver picked us up and we did a little shopping on the way to see the Monkeys. The monkeys were amazing and my girl loved it. They were friendly and took tons of pictures. Next stop was at the Infinity Bay Resort to eat. We enjoyed the beach and snorkeling at this prime location. We walked right out to the reef and snorkeled for hours. This was the best excursion of the week and I would highly recommend Bodden's tours. Belize: We had some bad weather. Our snorkel/beach excursion was cancelled and we just did some shopping at the dock area. The tender ride in and out was not too bad. About 15-20 minutes each way. We were looking forward to snorkeling the reef, but maybe next time. We were off the ship in less than 1/2 hour and caught a taxi to the airport for a 11:45 flight. No problems at all and we had a few hours to wait for our flight. Minus the weather in Belize....It was a perfect week. We had a great time on the ship and all of the excursion were just right. Weather was good and for the most part the seas were calm. We enjoyed the Legend and met some very nice people during the week. This vacation was well worth it.......

Cabin Review

Balcony (obstructed views)

Cabin 7A

We had a 7A obstructed balcony, but it was nice. The top of the life boats were about even with our floor level on the balcony. No obstruction at all looking straight out, but you could not look down and see the water. I would get this same room again.
