We said to wonderful ports on this cruise, and I have to say that this is what saved the trip. The ship went all around stopping in ports in Guernsey, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and a final day in Paris. We chose to book an inside cabin to save money and to spend our money on the ports and excursions. This was a good idea, as we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. The ports were fantastic - and although expensive the excursions we went on were good - with really knowledgeable and fun tour guides.

I have to say that the cabin was fine, and our room steward was wonderful. We ate in the dining rooms, and at the buffet. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. We were disappointed in the service, we had to constantly ask for our drinks to be refilled, or to get water or ice tea or coffee. Often we had to go get our own - but they were really good about picking up the finished plates! There's way too much up-selling going on - it seemed like everywhere we went they were trying to sell us something else.

We were on the Aloha deck (which as deck 12). It was easy to get up to the deck with the pools and the buffet, (deck 15), and down to the decks with the shops (deck 7). We ended up going up and down the stairs because the elevators were very slow, and almost always were packed full.
