Ship Facts: Celebrity Solstice Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Solstice Deck Plans
WOW WOW WOW Thats all I can say.
From the start we parked the car at Park and Fly better price and they take you to the pier. The pier was 18 the brand new one for RCCL. This was so fast and easy. From walking on the ship the first thing i noticed is the red carped. The wine given to you by the glass and the line of staff to make you feel like a star. The cabins were not ready so we went to get lunch with our friends on Bistro on Five.

The Five food was out of this world do not miss it. Its $5.00 but worth every penny. The cabins were ready by the time we finished and we went up to look at them. They were bigger then RCCL the balcony was huge. Bathrooms are large and so much space to put things away. We met our cabin guy and he went over everything in the room that we needed to know.

We started to walk around the ship and all i could say is wow. This ship is so pretty and lots of art. They have many bars and restaurants. I did find the drinks were a little more then RCCL. The ship was full but you never new it. We went to boat drill and you don't need a life jacket or need to stand in the heat any more. Oasis of the seas changed things.

After boat drill we met the cruise critic group deck 16 lawn club. This was just strange nice but strange to have grass on a ship. I think it is a wast of space. By the way they have a glass show that is from corning and its fabulous.

I find the staff to be very friendly and open.

The food was out of this would. We ate in the restaurant most nighs but the last night we ate in Silk this is an Asian restaurant. The food there is not to be missed if you like that kind of food. They give you so much food you have to be rolled out lol. The only thing we did not like is the formal night in the dining room they had no steak, or lobster. They had lobster later in the week.

The shows were just ok. We saw the adult comic he was really good. Don't miss the show Solstice its the best show on the water i have ever seen. Also they have late dinner going to the show at 7 and early late its really messed up.

Now i have one very bad thing that did happen but was fixed. The first formal night we went to the show the only one that was after dinner. Every cruise i have ever done i change into jeans after dinner then go to the show. The staff jumped in front of my wife and friends and said we could not see the show in jeans that we need to get back into formal ware. There was nothing posted any ware telling us this. They yelled at us and made a seen. Finally we just walked by them and sat down. I felt like who were they to tell me how to dress on my cruise after dinner. We made formal complaints and Paul the cruise director made changes in the program so people would know.

This was the only problem we had all week. Fine the Molecular bar and martini bar don't miss them out of this world.

The best part is they are not in your face and no announcement or pushing you to drink.

Debark took 22 min from start to end fast and nice.
