We are a family of five-- three children ages 10 (boy), six (boy) and six (girl) and mom and dad. We have been on only one cruise before-- on Regent Seven Seas Mariner to Alaska. We love Europe, and our idea of a vacation is a hiking trip in the alps.
We traveled as a part of a big family reunion-- three families plus grandpa. There were 8 children and 7 adults. Our children's ages ranged from 3 to 17.
We traveled on the Celebrity Equinox 11 night cruise from Rome to the Eastern Mediterranean. Our ports of call were:
Smaller than the veranda cabin we had on Regent Seven Seas Mariner, but a much better layout. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice, and there were many nooks and crannies to store things. The in-room entertainment was excellent. The service was great. Probably the best thing about the ship.
One warning-- with the balcony doors open, even a crack, you can hear every voice on every other balcony. At night, after the disco closes, this can be really, really awful.
