I cannot say enough about the outstanding service we got in the Dining Room. The food quality was also excellent in the Dining Room. Another very positive aspect was the quality of the shows every night. The cruise director and entertainment staff were a lot of fun and very engaging with the passengers.
Cabin was very comfortable. Surprisingly ample shelf space in the bathroom for four people and sufficient closet space for our clothes. Included a refrigerator which was not advertised. Carnival won't promote this, but their beverage policy does allow you to bring up to 12 bottles of water or cans of soda per person.
The Casino Lounge has got to go...it is not a lounge, it is the main corridor for the Promenade Deck! The seating takes up half the width of the corridor which is even worse on Photo Nights. They actually schedule Trivia Activities in this elongated space where you cannot hear due to the acoustics and adjacent Casino. During the day, there are other lounges in the back of the ship that are not used.
The buffet lines on the Lido Deck are long and could be better organized with more segregation of food types. The food quality here was above average and the pizza was very good. Did get to try the food from the poolside grill. The swimming pools are very small and consequently crowded on sea days.
The gym seemed kind of small and they ruin the view of the sea by hanging mirrors at the top of the windows.
