Our experience with Norwegian Cruise Line and Pride of Aloha was terrible. We have cruised numerous times on other lines and found Pride of Aloha to be substandard on all accounts. The ship is not updated, is dirty, has smells from sewage, and employs the most unfriendly staff we have ever encountered. The quality of food and the food service is pitiful - reminds one of standing in line at one of the most inexpensive buffets available!
The lack of cleanliness of the ship, the individual rooms and the food service areas ranks the lowest of anything we have ever experienced in our lives. The staff is not trained on basic cleaning procedures so we had to clean our entire room before we could even sit down. We booked and paid for what was meant to be a large room with an outside balcony. The room was so small, you could sit on the bed and open the door, go into the closet, step out onto the balcony, step into the tiny bathroom... are you getting a picture yet?
Would not recommend this line to anyone!
