Hello Cruise Critic Fanatics,

First of all, I want to thank you all for allowing my wife and I to discover the wealth of information on this forum from previous cruisers on the Mediterranean. It really helped us plan our cruise, especially the guided port tours. This was our first cruise to Eastern Mediterranean, having cruised the Western Med. some five years ago. Although we are not frequent cruisers (this was our third) we are frequent world travelers. Our immediate group of friends comprised of four couples, ranging in age from 47 - 61, as part of a 200+ physician medical seminar held on the Norwegian Gem through a company called Dr. Travel out of New Jersey.

Our itinerary was as follows:

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

We were in cabin 10066, a balcony cabin mid ship. Although it was not on the port side of the ship, we happened to be the side facing the ports other than departing from Venice. Would stay in this room again in a heartbeat.
