Boarded the cruise at Mamaris Turkey slighty aprehensive about cruising with Thompson as felt it might be like Butlins on water! The checking in process was quick and simple and hassle free we walked staright onto the ship and was escorted to our cabin which was a suite the ship was older than any we had been on before but it was clean and tidy and she had a great charm about her, being a lot smaller than the glamour ships the personal touch was far superior than we could have ever expected. a bit overwhelmed at the sanitation process every time you left the ship or entered a restaurant but rather that than experiencing the noroVirus when on holiday. The cabin was a bit dated but loads of room, the food was out of this world considering the cost and the service was excellent the only disappointment was the gala night as we were on the first sitting it was a bit rushed and the wine was not chilled very well and the focus had disappeared on service that night but other than that it was excellent, the buffet was also very good especially for the late night snacks they had curry most nights which was very good, breakfast was better in the main dinning room as apposed to the buffet but the quality was good on both. There was a slight vibration on the ship but you did not notice it after a while, the entertainment was basic but they all worked very hard to put on a show every night the horizons bar was my favorite live music and relaxing atmosphere away from the over crowded main bars but something for everyone the pools were small but not used that much by the passengers so a refreshing dip was easy We had the all inclusive option which I would recommend it included brand drinks rather than the local equivalents bottles of wine were not included however we managed to get bottles of house white with dinner every night included we probably spent the cost of the AI on the first night! Would definitely go again on this ship and by far it was excellent value for money and can't fault Thompson's efforts on this one

Cabin Review

Cabin 119 suite a bit dated expecially the bathroom but clean and tidy views are obstructed by the life boats but did not bother us in any way
