Destination: Baltic Sea
Embarkation: Amsterdam

A small delay of 5 hours because of the scrub down after the last cruise....virus again. Had a pleasant lunch at the nearby hotel and the cruise line gave us a $25.00 USD credit for shipboard use. We met some wonderful people who inform me of cruise critic...which I never heard about. For the most part the cruise was very pleasant except for several of the ports. The cities or towns were rather run down and empty..however I assume that a Saturday had something to do with it.

The seas were very calm and smooth..very strange for the North Sea...but very enjoyable. The food in the main restaurant was as presumed, although on this cruise we did not have a 2.5 hour (-) sit down as on other cruises. This cruise was served faster but not rushed and my back side liked that.

Michael's Club with Perry Grant was good...but just for one evening and no more.

The shows in the Celebrity Theatre were not, in my opinion, par for a cruise. BUT this is not Las Vegas and More everyone did try to entertain.

The waiters in Michael's Club were very attentive and knew us on the second visit with the correct adult beverage we drank...thank you Randy and Ivan. We met some very nice people and appreciated the beautiful space of the Michaels Club to converse.

The speciality restaurant - OCEAN LINERS with its staff of professionals was always. Mushtak and his entire staff and of course Sinisa, were outstanding...the food great...the presentation great....the service great. We went to Ocean Liners twice and enjoyed every visit. Less

Cabin review: 9131

Our cabin 9131 was located on the port side midway down the passageway with a balcony. Although a little cool temperature wise (45 to 55 F)the outside at times was enjoyable. The overhang, due to deck 10, did block out some sun and sky. Next time we'll ask for deck 8 or 7.

Port and Shore Excursions

Amsterdam is great. But go outside the city for the true feeling of Holland.
